NEW INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAC 27/Jun/2016
I put this instructions together which should help new users to install without any issues:
1. Install Sapphire for your host app of choice by using the individual installers.
2. When prompted, choose ‘Complete installation without entering a license’.
3. Go to /Library/Application Support/GenArts/rlm/ and delete all files ending in ‘demo_XX.lic’ (for example: rlm_demo_ae.lic).
4. Double click the GenArtsRLMServer-11.2.2.0.dmg and run the installer.

5. Copy/paste all 4 files from the AMPED folder to /Library/Application Support/GenArts/rlm/ (it will replace the original files).
6. Copy/paste the file com.genarts.rlmserver.plist from /Library/Application Support/GenArts/rlm/startup_files/ to /Library/LaunchDaemons/
7. Get your hostname and hostID in your System Preferences and write them down somewhere:
a) for Hostname go to sharing tab. Use your computer name and add ‘.local’ to it.
(for example, if your computer name is ‘john denver’ it should be john-denver.local. Note: Replace spaces with a hyphen)
b) for HostID go to network tab, click ‘Advanced…’, then ‘Hardware’ and copy the MAC address
(for example: 1c:4g:e3:cf:17:2b). Then delete the dots (should be: 1c4ge3cf172b)
8. Go back to /Library/Application Support/GenArts/rlm/ and open the file genarts.lic with TextEdit.app (Open With/Other…’).
In the first line change ‘localhost’ to your Hostname and ‘ANY’ to your HostID.
(It should now say something like: HOST john-denver.local 1c4ge3cf172b 5053)
Save and close the file.
9. Open all other .lic files in /Library/Application Support/GenArts/rlm/ (example: SapphireAE.lic) and paste the following text (replace again your Hostname and ID with your own):

FOR WINDOWS:
This is the OFX for Vegas install method on Win 7 64. The others must be very similar. Hope this clears a lot of fog up about this app.
You might not have to do any of this if the server is already installed and patched from earlier. Only do it if you get watermarks or other signs of trial.
1. Install RLM server 11.2.2.0 before installing. Free from Genarts.
2. Install Sapphire OFX for Vegas.
Choose install without licence at the end.
3. Check if RLM in services is stopped. If running, stop it.
4. Copy the 4 files in the AMPED folder:
rlmutil.exe
genarts.lic
genarts.set
rlm.exe
TO.
C:Program Files (x86)GenArtsrlm
Then copy genarts.lic file only TO.
C:ProgramDataGenArtsrlm
Restart the RLM service in services. All done.
